The National Blood Transfusion Centre in Kosovo, in honour of World Blood Violence Day today Pristina, has organised voluntary blood donation week.
For the importance of the timely provision of blood and its products, during this week all thanks will be focused on volunteer blood donors, who with their blood donation save lives every day.
This voluntary action was joined by many members of the KSF, numerous, passing citizens, but also organised groups, writes KsP.
The KSF, both this year and this year, has supported the National Blood Transfusion Centre with logistical tools and in Teresa “Square has set up a tent for all volunteers who donate blood.
The action was responded to by a large number of KSF members, who also through the year organizedly donate blood.
Hundreds of blood doses are collected by these members for the needs of Kosovo's National Blood Transfusion Centre.
The voluntary blood donation week will be completed on June 22nd.
