Kosovo cocaine use cases increase

Chief of the Kosovo Police Department for Co-operation and Prevention Bajram Nuhiu said this Director is working on preventing drug use.

“Kosovo needs to increase drug prevention activities”, he said on public television.

He suggested that certain types of drugs are present in Kosovo, such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin and ecstasy. The past “we had about 1900kg of marijuana type confiscated, for heroin has a drop, while there's increased cocaine cases”, he stressed.

According to him, the age of 20 to 35 is more about drug abuse.

According to him, Kosovo Police are organising activity “Stop drugs” in schools that have resulted in success.
