Ivanov Keeps Macedonia Locked, Do Not Sign Name Agreement

If Ivanov by the middle of next week when and expected to expire the deadline remains in the initial position that he will not sign, the Law will be back for revote in the Assembly. After what, under the constitution, the president is obliged to cast the firm, yet the Constitution provides no alternative for exits from the situation if even after revote of the Law in the Assembly, Ivanov decides to keep the Law on archives. However, the prime minister, Zoran Zaev, said nothing depends on both Ivanov and other politicians, but that citizens have the final word for the Agreement. In an interview for the Serbian daily “Politika”, Zaev voiced optimism that the referendum would be successful.
Citizens will be expressed in referendum on the historic agreement with which the state moves forward.
I am optimistic and believe that the referendum will succeed, while this means success for each citizen of Macedonia. The word of citizens will have to be respected by all, both President Ivanov and the opposition, as well as we as the Government”, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said.
Meanwhile, Greek top diplomat Nikos Kotzias will sign the papers, which tomorrow they will arrive in NATO and the EU. Through this corruption, Greece will express its support for the country to start membership negotiations in these two international organisations.
Such support, Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska has already requested from all NATO member states. With letter to its counterparts, Sekerinska stresses that with the country's NATO accession democracy will be consolidated and the stability and security of the entire region strengthened
