(8 years ago)Kosovo Assembly MP Ilir Deda has proposed an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, based on the format of the agreement that has been reached today between Donald Trump and Kim Jong. “
If we take the US-North Korean Declaration 4 to base and adjust it to Kosovo, Serbia can come to these 6 points of “Legal Agreement for normalisation of relations”, Deda wrote, Periscopi reports.
These are the points that the proposed Deda agreement might have:
- Kosovo and Serbia are committed to establishing the new relations of the two countries, in line with the wishes of the two states for peace, prosperity and democracy.
- Serbia and Kosovo will work jointly on the construction of the long-term and stability of peace in the Western Balkans.
- In line with the policy of good bilateral relations, Serbia and the EU will jointly sponsor the new Resolution at the Security Council for membership of the Republic of Kosovo in the United Nations Organisation.
- Serbia and Kosovo are tasked with closing the issue of missing persons, and taking steps to process justice to all acts of acts involved in the killings of civilians.
- Kosovo and Serbia, under the supervision of the European Union, will implement all agreements reached in the process of normalising EU-encilating relations.
- Serbia and Kosovo will be forced, with separate agreements with the EU, not blocking each other in the European integration process.
