University footballers have invented an extremely clever plan for breaking the fast during the Holy Month of Ramadan, during the last two friendly matches before the World Cup.
In both of this week's friendlys, the Sunnisan goalkeeper Mouze Hassen has collapsed at the start of the second part, complaining about a “damage” -- not really, as well as allowing the team's medical team to enter the field.
During the first match with Portugal, while the Tunisians were at a disadvantage 2-1, Hasse was seen to be injured “in the 58th minute, an act that allowed his teammates to run toward the reserve bench to put something into his mouth and break the Ramadan fast.
After drinking water and consuming light things, the North African national also scored the draw goal 6 minutes later, curbing Europe's power champions for the next 30 minutes in the 2-2 draw.
Similarly, this time in the 49th minute of Turkey's friendliness, Hassen fell on his back to the ground to allow Sunnisian players to go and grab snacks after breaking the fast.
Even with Turks, the Sunnis once again received an equal draw, 2-2.
Hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world fast each day in the Holy Month of Ramadan. A month requiring iron discipline as Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, or even sexual acts from dawn until sunset.
Tunisia, however, will not have to take this unusual plan any longer, as Ramadan ends before their first World Cup match, which will play on June 18th against England.
Fun hard:
Tunisan National Team has played the last two friends while fasting. So, never the time comes to break Fast. The players have an engagement that the GK would go down so they can get a moment to drive some water and get something to eat?#Ramadan #unity Pic.twitter. com/4Rg380ukW(@ SKhmira) June 2, 2018
