The current Minister of Infrastructure, Paul Lekaj, has denied claims by former Infrastructure Minister in the government led by Isa Mustafa, Lutfi Zharku, that the Kosovo government and Bechtel-Enka have made later arrangements for highway spending.
There was no agreement between the government and Bechtel-Enka”, Lekaj said. It's a speculation that you have an agreement”, he told Lekaj, Zarko.
Lekaj has said that if it proves there is agreement between the Bechtel-Enka government, it will take responsibility itself.
Zharku has said in T7 that paperwork exists showing they have requested signing the deal on expenditures.
