The Termokis community through a media statement has indicated that along with 53 other organisations, they are seeing concrete results from the work they have done in seeking to change the law on the provision of municipal property.
Campaja #The Persert for Greece since December 2017 has raised citizens' awareness of the importance of access to public property from non-profit entities, but has also submitted concrete proposals to the Ministry of Local Power Management during their public consultations.
This minister has now published the Final Report on Public Consultation of the Law on Exploitation and Exchange of the Communist Property and has officially been hired that the process of providing for the use of municipal property for non-profit purposes will regulate it by act of law such as the special process”, said further in the statement.
This final report should be approved by the Assembly of Kosovo, where the sublegal act by MAPL for regulating the application process and selection of organisations to exploit municipal property for non-profit purposes will be defined and compiled.
The thermokiss is also in the process of publishing a research that shows examples and details of how different countries in the region handle the Law on Public Property, giving also concrete proposals on how this law should be compiled in Kosovo.
