For blocking the phone code, Kosovo is consulting with internationals

The integration of the Kosovo state code +383 was earlier to be completed earlier this month.

But the Electronical Communications Authority (ARKEP) at the request of operators has postponed implementation until October 31st. If this deadline is not implemented, the institution has warned of penalties for operators in compliance with the Law on Electronic Communications.

The code of Monaco +377 and Slovenia's +386 have not yet largely left mobile phone users in Kosovo.

ARKEP Board Chairman Kreshnik Gashi, in a proposal to the newspaper “Zer”, has warned that unless this date is respected by operators there will be a penalty for operators in compliance with the Law for Electronic Communications.

The last “Aphat given by ARKEP for implementation of the +383 code in the sense that the removal of the current +386 and +377 codes is October 31st, and this will be the last set time.
