Blocked Valbonne Road, Residents Protest Against HECUE

Residents of the Dragobia area in Tropoj held a protest, while nearly all commercial units in Valbonne joined the call for protest and closed their activities. All of this is a sign of solidarity with residents seeking not to build hydropower plants at Valbona's mouth.

The residents themselves, who have contacted Top Channel, say that on Sunday they have heard mine explosions, even being a serious risk to the lives of residents who have been working on their property.

Residents say that mine explosions damage their homes, while street - block protests are only the first step, because they are expected to intensify further, to the failure of Valbona exploration and construction firms, of several hydropower plants across the entire length of the river.
