Bechtel-Enka very happy for 53 million, thanks to Government

“Bechtel Enka” through a media communiqué have expressed joy that additional costs followed at work have been offset. The government has allocated 53m euros in compensation for the company, following the extension of the contract for the “Arba Xhaferi” highway, Periscopi reports. “BELGP is happy that the issue of additional costs suffered by the EUGP by working [...]
“The EUGP is pleased that the issue of additional costs suffered by the EUGP by working within the limited budgetary division of the Government of Kosovo ʹ and the necessary re-organisation of jobs to adapt to budget access shortages for the UN project has finally been resolved”, the media statement said.
In addition, according to the company, the Government decision does not reflect their full costs related to prolonging jobs, but it is the result of long-term co-operation with the Government of Kosovo.
“The EUGP continues to focus on the completion of the highway and is committed to giving Kosovo's citizens another important national infrastructure project linking Kosovo with the region and the EU”, it is said further in the statement.
“Bechtel Enka” has indicated that on 14 June, another highway link will be released, leading to the tourist destination of Brezovica and the Sharr Mountains.
Along with the Government, “Bechtel Enka” will launch a national campaign over “SafeDesit”, inviting the public to say “Speed and “Safety on the road.
