The day the senior test was held, Algeria has banned the internet across the country in order to prevent student copying.
All internet services, including that phone and as fixed lines, will not be working for an hour during the exercise in order to prevent any form of fraud, reports the BBC.
This will continue for five days as long as the test will last. The decision came after massive frauds taken on the test held in 2016, as test questions had circulated on social networks.
All electronic devices with internet access to students and school staff will be banned in the testing room, as well as metal detectors are at the entrance.
