Zaev admits: One of the options for the name is the mutually acceptable solution

Prime Ministers Zaev and Cipras have reached common language for an option as a possible solution to the name issue. After meeting in Sofia with his Greek counterpart, Zaev said an option is acceptable to both sides. The executive head said that the factors [...] are now left to consult the option.
The media reported that <x0lindenska Republika Makedonija” is the agreed and acceptable solution behind Prime Minister Zoran Zaev's statement today in Sofia, when he said there is an acceptable solution for both sides.
We talked essentially and considered some options. One of the options is the acceptable solution for both sides. We continue with consultations at home, so that we can see if the system institutions, if it is virtually possible to realise this solution. If possible, we will likely have a solution -- Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said, writes Alsat M.
Zaev, though stressing that the final solution to the name depends on whether the option in question will be acceptable to all sides in both countries, however, is optimistic that the solution will be soon, even before key EU and NATO citizens.
We hope that before the EU Summit we will have a solution. I hope sincerely, but it depends on both sides, depends on the institutions, the presidents of the countries, the opposition leaders, the other political leaders, and finally on the citizens of the two countries. If it's not possible we'll continue, for sure. We built unconditional friendships among us dedicated to a solution, but I hope that we will be in time to encourage the European Council, NATO because we expect NATO invitation and the date for starting negotiations with the EU, Zoran Zaev stressed.
Zaev assured that the agreement would not violate the dignity of the two peoples.
From today, the friendship between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Greece is even more powerful. We choose conflicts to strengthen the dignity and identity of citizens in both countries, Zaev added.
Shortly after the Zaev-Cipras meeting, the two prime ministers, alone, met German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Merkel confirmed that Macedonia and Greece have marked significant progress on the issue of the name.
Talks between Macedonia and Greece progress well and significant progress has been noted. The name issue for Macedonia is important, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said.
As for EU enlargement, Merkel said the issue would be decided at the Union Summit in June. It has confirmed the European perspective of Western Balkan countries.
