The Gadime Cave has always worked until 1500 p.m., and after this hour, something unusual was happening in its environments from July last year. The cave doors were only officially closed, although both employees allowed visitors to enter, even without tickets, keeping the market for themselves. All of this was reflected in a letter from five other cave employees who were accused of extortion by colleagues reported to competent organs.
In July of last year, five Gadima Cave workers had noticed some collapses that were being made by two of their colleagues, described as misusing official duty.
These two people, the Gadime Cave employee, are accused of misusing the state budget for thousands of euros. Gadime Finance Officer Oso Djindovci, as well as his next official Valon Zymer, has been working on this cave for nearly a year. These two for two hours of work had received an additional 200 euros.
But this job is not being done in accordance with the law. Officials in question from July until April this year had allowed various visitors to enter the cave after 1500, although the cave worked only until that time.
In short, these two officials were accused of misusing the state budget for a year, thus robbing thousands of euros of ticket manipulations for visitors entering the Gadima Cave.
In a letter bearing the stamp of five Gadima Cave employees -- Besim Limani, Emin Tasholli, Januz Ejupi, Brahim Aslan and Vigan Ejupi -- detail is given about the collapses of these two officials about the extortion of money which are destined for this natural wealth of Kosovo.
Workers even say that their two colleagues have blackmailed them by asking them not to tell about their manipulations.
“The collection of tickets that have been sold by the financial official until 3 p.m. has been made by these people, then forced us as a guide and with pressure that we can make tickets and then those tickets have been sold several times”, reportedly in the complaint of five Gadima Cave workers, who have also been handed over to Environmental Ministry officials and Space Planning.
According to the complainers, from the state budget from 1500 to 5: 00 a.m., each working day these two officials have misused a minimum of 200 euros a day, while during the rest of the finance official has been misused about 700 euros a day.
But these are not the only abuses these two officials have made. They and the official car that had been available to the cave had been cleared of plates and driven overtime.
