He has said he is seeking a good solution not only for Kosovo Serbs, but also for Serbia.
“Respect the interests of Serbs in Kosovo, have a future, and respect Serbia's legitimate interests”, Vuciq has said during his stay at the Sofia Summit.
He has said he will speak to all in attendance at the Sofia Summit on this issue.
Vucic says that if he is divided with suggestions given on the Kosovo issue, the same will require the approval of the Serbian people.
As far as US Assistant Secretary of State Wes Mitchel has threatened Vucinciqi if he does not accept the proposal for Kosovo, he has said that such a thing is not true at all, till he flatly denied it, writes Periscopi.
“That some would like to see someone else in power in Serbia is not something new. It would be new if someone enjoyed Belgrade's results. No one threatens me” has the Serbian president expressed himself.
Vuciq has acknowledged that he has pressure from the United States to resolve the Kosovo issue, and that according to him is not surprising.
The “is perfectly normal for them to expect a change of position in Serbia. They want to see Kosovo independent, and we don't want anything like that” has declared Vuciq.
Wes Mitchel has said he is a politician who has always heard Serbia's views, despite basic disagreements about the Kosovo issue.. /Periscopi/
