Veselin gets Italy's support for Kosovo's EU integration

The head of the Italian Senate said that in addition to political co-operation and security, Italy will support Kosovo further in the area of the economy.

“I will be the voice of Kosovo to large Italian corporations to come and invest in Kosovo”, she said.

Italian Chief Commissioner Maria Elizabeth Alberti Caselati, in turn, has expressed satisfaction with Kosovo's achievements, confirmed Italy's full support for Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic integration agenda, democratic processes, as well as the development of the economy and strengthening the welfare of citizens.

Both counterparts agreed that relations between the two parliaments will be strengthened and deepen further, at all levels of parliamentary co-operation.

At the end of this meeting, the president of the Italian Senate invited Prime Minister Wessel for an official visit to Rome.
