Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has decreed the Law on Ratification of the State Border Agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro.
Thaci has stressed that the entry into force of this agreement, except to ensure free movement, strengthens international subjectivity of the state.
After three years, in March the Kosovo Assembly has approved demarcation with Montenegro.
With 80 votes pro, the necessary minimum, the Assembly approved demarcation after four times interruptions due to tear gas shooting.

Following the Kosovo Assembly's approval and review by the Constitutional Court, I decreed today the Law on Ratification of the State Border Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro. The entry into force of this agreement, in addition to ensuring the free movement of our citizens, will strengthen the international subjectivity of our state. HTH
