“It is not enough to set up charges for visa liberalisation”

The renowned lawyer, Gigan Qorrolli, in an interactive KTV, said the visa liberalisation issue is the process related to fighting corruption and organised crime. EU “Institutions co-ordinator, and thus in June, it will become a balance of meeting the criteria for visa liberalisation for Kosovo. The demarcation is over, and now it's rule of law. It is said that a satisfactory level of fighting corruption and organised crime must be achieved. Just raising the charges is not enough to satisfy EU requirements. It takes bias of the definite form and to prove that someone has been involved in crime and corruption. There is crime and corruption in Kosovo, which must be fought”.
EULEX, according to Qorroll, has made the same mistakes as U n NMIC.
“He is primarily concerned about political stability. Most of the bosses were either politicians or army generals. When they reported in Brussels, they talked about political stability in Kosovo, but never about comprehensive strategies that would make Kosovo stable in relation to justice”, he stressed.
The new mission, according to him, will be within the framework of the EU Office and will have a connection with war crimes.
Qorrolli said that Kosovo judges are now dealing with and how much time with war crimes and corruption cases, but “in most cases make decisions that are marred by the highest instance”.
However, I believe that judgment has very honest men and women and their noble mission should be patriotism in this country. What politics is failing to do, the trial must do”, said Fargan Qorrolli, expert on justice cases.
Speaking of his failure to be elected as constitutional judge, Qorrolli said it was his will to work in the country's best interests.
“From November 4th 2017, the Assembly has failed to elect constitutional judges. I have hoped that as a young man, I could contribute to the constitutional trial for which I was educated in the West”, Qorroll said.
