LHK “Ali Hadri” branch in Decan, seeks from the international factor to distance themselves from any initiative of Igumeni Janjic and not prevent the construction of the National Decan highway Plav.
The anti-Albanian policy of the Decani Monastery is only coming and strengthening, so we call on the monastery and its staff to withdraw from the dirty games which will produce decantisation of the general order in Decani and the district”, the League's response said.
But historians do not stop there, as they demand a large popular protest with which construction of Decan-Place Street would be required.
“LHK “Ali Hadri” branch at Decan, invites all political forces to Decan for unifying and responses enormously against Serbia-great Janjic's initiative to ban the construction of Decan lav road, and we ask that a large popular protest be organised, with which construction of Decan Street Plav” is said in this communique.
Otherwise, the work was halted today on the first six miles [6 km] the monastery claims to touch the protected area.
