Serbian journalist Stefan Cvetkovic, from Bella Crkva, has declared that during his return from Kosovo, he has been detained and interviewed for six hours at the police station at the Jarina border crossing.

He has said that from Kosovo Police to the Jarina border crossing point has received written confirmation that he was held at the police station near the border to be questioned at the order of the special prosecutor, who is investigating the murder of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic.

Cvetkovic on Saturday morning from Serbia had entered Kosovo, as he said, because he is working on research concerning Oliver Ivanovic's death, while Kosovo police had issued a decision to keep him at the border crossing.

There was no other way to come to me, since they had noticed that I contacted some people who were interested in their investigation”, Cvetkovic told the Beta agency, sends out Telegrafi.

He indicated that he has already passed through Serbia and that he was “again free”.

Police officials apologized to me and escorted me to the border checkpoint. The only unpleasant thing was that I was kept in confusion so long, until the prosecutor's team from Pristina” came, Cvetkovic said, adding that he has received a copy of the decision to question.

Cvetkovic said earlier today that he was held at the police station at the Jarina crossing point for six hours and was asked to make a statement and information about the murder of a Kosovo politician, Oliver Ivanovic.

Serbian journalist Stefan Cvetkovic became known to the public after being sentenced to more than two years in prison on charges by Serbian Progressive Party officials.
