The charges are part of Pompeii's 12-point ultimatum sent to the Islamic Republic on Monday, in which it hits “the financing of terrorism” and “destabilising activities”.

Iran has been a long ally of Damascus, and Bashar Assad legally recognises him as president of Syria, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.

On the other hand, the United States has been described as a “non-legal rifle” by Assad.
