The study has analysed the state of health of 90, 257 women in America over the age of 30.
Overweights were more capable of having a stroke or heart attack, even if they had normal blood pressure, cholesterol, and no diabetes.
Researchers said “obesity is bad for human health”.
Obessity increases the factors of cardiovascular disease, such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes.
Women who have a normal weight but unhealthy metabolism are twice as likely to develop cardiovascular diseases as women who have the same weight but are metabolically healthy.
