Tu-22 offensive planes M3M is a more modernised type of Tu-22m3, which is most widely used in air strikes on Syria.
Improved planes equipped with new deadly missiles can strike eight times more accurately and target up to ten times accuracy compared to older aircraft.
They can reach a height of 14 miles, reports the British medium “Metro”, broadcast Periscope.
Improving this type of aircraft has come after strained relations between Russia and the West.
Russia's Defence and Security Committee head Viktor Bondarev said “all radio-electronic equipment is being modernised. ”
The most important thing is that planes are adapting to transport large supersonic Kh-32 missiles,” he added.
Nodarev announced that other aircraft species are improving as well. /Periscopi/
