Ricalo suspends the director after not giving the grant to his wife

Nenad Rikalo, the minister of agriculture in whose government opposes him on Thursday, has suspended the chief executive of the Agency for Agriculture Development (AZHB) from duty, Elhami Hajdari, after failing to convince an illegal company to submit over 80 thousand euros. It is this company that co-operated with Biljana Ricalo, wife of this Serbian minister, writes Koha Ditore today.

The decision taken two days ago, Rikalo argues with doubt over a case of chance, but at the third point of the document the real purpose is verified: “Prussion is also made due to non-co-operation, co-ordination, non-ordination in working meetings invited by the minister's cabinet and the failure to implement the common agricultural policies laid out by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the cabinet of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Development (Ukrament) respectively.

Company “The Prizren-based Extra Fruit Filings”, which handles fruit processing, had won in 2015 at the Ministry of Agriculture 84 points to implement the 328 thousand-euro project, of which 164 thousand euros were grant to the Ministry. After signing the contract, The ABZH had paid this company 50 per cent of the grant sum.
