The Union of Kosovo Workers' Unions will hold a protest today, demanding from Kosovo institutions a series of demands that they should apply to workers.
“The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo called on all those who face denial of the right to work, denial of dignified wages, security and health at work to join the protest during International Labour Day 1 Maj”, the BSPK appeal said.
According to the BSPK, citizens in Kosovo face extremely high unemployment rates and at the same time workers with rights violations, wage discrimination, lack of security and labour health, and the failure to implement laws in general. Many workers/work without employment contracts, long hours and annual restlessness or certain holidays, many workers and workers are injured or killed in the workplace, and no one takes responsibility, many workers are discriminated against by leave of much and many other injustices.
The protest called by the BSPK has responded positively to all labour unions, but also the Vetevendosje Movement and the Group of Independent Deputies.
The protest will begin at 11 o'clock at “Zahir Pajaziti” to continue towards the National Theatre, at the Kosovo Government building. /
