Two politicians were killed this weekend in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, bordering the US, bringing to five the number of politicians killed in Mexico in a week, on the eve of the July 1st general elections.
Eduardo Aragon's “Body, leader of the conservative party {Encuentro Socialʹ, which has been missing since Friday, was found yesterday morning in the trunk of his vehicle, on a road to the state of Chihuaa”, according to Mexican police.
Hours later, anonymous phone calls reported that several armed men had opened fire and burned houses and shops in the small town of Ignacio Zaragosa, in the same state of Chihuahua.
Police forces have discovered three bodies in the ruins of six villas and burnt shops, including the body of Liliana Garcias, a candidate for the Party of Democratic Revolution. ( PRD, Ignacio Zaragosa.
