Pacolli supports idea of creating an American economic zone

Pacolli has said he has long promoted the idea for economic zones in Kosovo, which will attract more foreign investment.

Economic Zone for American Investments in Kosovo

For a long time I have promoted the idea of economic zones in Kosovo that will attract more foreign investment, bring foreign capital and expertise to Kosovo and create new jobs for our youth, giving them a brighter future. In the government's mandate 2011/2014 we managed to make legal preparations, but then nothing was done.

I strongly support the launched idea for economic creation and in this case, with particular emphasis on an area for American investors in Kosovo, which would be a pillar of strategic relations between Kosovo and the United States, and would attract American companies to come to Kosovo.

There are many American companies in Kosovo and much more can come if we create conditions that would make Kosovo more attractive in the region and in Eastern Europe.

I will push into the government this idea that soon we will make the decision to create an economic zone for American investors and organise an Economic-Investing Forum between Kosovo and the United States that would unite the business community of our two countries.

I believe we will have concrete results bringing more investment, creating more jobs and having a better future for our country.
