Millions of Kosovo budget euros go only for pensions

All of these are spent on the 370m-euro budget.
At least that's what the “report says. The statistics of the 2017 Social Health Agency, which has published the Kosovo Statistics Agency.
Based on this report, the category of people most profitable to whom money is spent the most is that of basic age pensions, followed by age contributions pensions and the category for veterans' pensions.
In these three categories alone, 202 thousand and 48 persons are beneficial.
And at least the beneficiaries are from pensions of the Kosovo Security Force(FSK) and the Kosovo Protection Corps (TMK). A thousand and 289 people receive pensions for these categories.
The others are disabled persons, pensioners of Trepca, blind schemes, the homes of martyrs and war invalids, social aid scheme, and the financial support scheme for families with disabled children.
120m euros in pensions for veterans
One of the pension categories that costs the state millions of euros is that of veterans.
Since they have begun receiving pensions, veterans have dedicated the poorest country's budget to around 120m euros in the region. That's the amount of money the state has allocated since 2015 for this category, writes Infocus.com.
At least that's what media spokesman at the Ministry of Labour and Social Management, Musa Demiri, has declared.
The “Shuma spent on the KLA veterans' category, from the start of implementing this scheme until December 2017, has been around 119m and 136 thousand euros”, Demiri has said.
According to MPMS data, 2017 has largely burdened Kosovo's budget. In the past year alone, the state has earmarked more than 65m euros.
“for 2015 (October-December) has been earmarked 5 million and 418 thousand euros, for 2016 there are 47 million 864 thousand euros, and for 2017 65 million and 854 thousand euros”, Demiri said.
Demiri claims that currently in the pension profit scheme there are 37 thousand and 136 beneficiaries, believed to have been participants in the war.
