In this case, EULEX prosecutor Valeria Bolic has given the final word, with cérast, according to her, the criminal responsibility of the two accused, Lutfi Dervishi and Sokol Hajdini, on charges of trafficking with human beings, organised crime and serious bodily injury has been proven. It has reminded a joint kidney donors: everyone had financial problems.
According to the prosecutor, accused Lutfi Dervishi was aware of this, but that was in his interest. Her speech, out of the seven cases of transplantation, has also mentioned the amounts of money given by receivers and kidney donors but also by brokers' transactions. Some of the donors had received between 7,000 and 8,000 euros for their kidneys, until the receivers had paid close to 8,000 euros for them. The defence is expected to give its word at the session scheduled for May 22nd.
