Even a high profile indictment has failed to pass the original <x0pragub” to the court. These days the Constitutional Court in Gjakova has rejected the Special Prosecutor's Act, established months ago against Malisheva's president, Ragip Begaj, who faced justice for misuse of official office, writes Koha Ditore today.
Based on the decision, which includes “Koha Ditore”, the court has concluded that there is no evidence to prove and maintain the suspicion that Begaj has committed the criminal work he is in charge of.
The prosecution has said that there is no information about this decision and that this is being heard for the first time from the newspaper. However, she has warned that once she makes the decision, she will analyse and appeal to the Court of Appeals.
In February of this year, the prosecution has filed charges against Begaj under the suspicion that it has taken advantage of the task, respectively, that of the mayor of the Malisheva municipality, contrary to the Civil Service Law provisions, by benefiting the other and by damaging the municipality budget.
