Cochu Istambulova, from Chechnya, said she hasn't had a single happy day in her entire life and has no idea how she has come to live so long.
Istambulova, which has not eaten meat but loves fermented milk, believes it's the “willow the god” that will live to see its 129th anniversary next month.
The claim that Istambulova is about 129 years old is based on its document released on June 1st 1889, reports “DailyMail”, Periscopi broadcast.
If that date is correct, Istambulova had 27 years when Czar Nicholas II had collapsed and the arrival of the Russian Revolution, 55 when World War II ended, and 102 years old when he surrendered to the Soviet Union.
During the war, she recalls the frightening German Nazis who passed her family home in a village in Chechnya.
She and her family were deported to the entrance of Kazakh and Siberia, where they were charged as Nazi collaborators from Stalin.
Asked by journalists, what is the secret of her life expectancy, she said “was the will of God. I didn't do anything to live this long.”
I see people (who live long) playing sports, eating something special, keeping themselves healthy, but I have no idea how I've lived so far”
I'm tired. Life expectancy is not a gift from God to me at all but it's a punishment for me”
She lost many children during her lifetime, including her six - year - old son.
Russian officials say its documents were all lost during the second Chechen war from 1999 to 2009.
The oldest life documented for living is Jeanne Clement from France, who had lived for 122 years, 164 days, but she had died in 1997./Periscopi/
