Kosovo submits embassy application in Lisbon

Vuniqi has submitted the application at the meeting with Secretary of State for European Affairs at the Portuguese Foreign Affairs Ministry, Anna Paula Zacarias.
“Goals and requirements for the opening of the Kosovo Embassy in Lisbon have been welcomed and praised by the particular importance of representatives of the host state in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while continued continued support in both the process of international consolidation of the state of Kosovo and that of visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens, as well as the path of integration and membership in Euro-Atlantic structures”, the MPJ report said.
According to the announcement, Vuniqi and Zacaria have agreed to hold political consultations between the two countries in autumn of this year, as well as to work on organising an Economic Forum in the near future.
