Kosovo seeks excavations at three locations on Serbia's territory

In the second part of April, excavations have begun to be found at three locations in Kosovo, in the village of Lupq in the Podujevo municipality, at a location in the industrial area in Gjakova and in the “Tusus” neighbourhood in Prizren.

The Kosovo side has demanded that evaluation excavations begin even at three locations on Serbia's territory.

The chairman of the Government Commission for Missing Persons, Prenke Loka, has confirmed to “Zen” that they started digging into several locations they were held from last year.

With improved weather conditions, as we have been warned, there has been a beginning of assessment excavations in targeted locations within the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. First priority has been addressed by the retained locations as unfinished from last year”, he said.

The find has said that excavations in Gjakova have resulted in the discovery and exhumation of several bone parts, which have been processed for further examination.
