Patients from Kosovo spend millions of euros within the year to seek medical treatment abroad, because health is faced with various shortages in our country.
However, that is not good at all, as this situation results in great loss in terms of the economy in Kosovo.
The Health Ministry has shown how many patients are waiting for help to heal abroad.
“According to data provided by the Health Insurance Fund, pending review of procedures by the Executive Board for approval/approval of the financial amount for treatment are 40 cases”, the MSh's response to Indexline says.
Furthermore, the government dictatorship led by the minister, Uran Ismaili, has shown several cases in which countries most frequently travel the QKUK patients.
“... Most treatments are made in Kosovo (in private institutions), followed by several cases going to the state of Turkey, Albania, Macedonia and Western countries such as Germany, etc.”, said at the end of the response.
Remember, the lack of essential conditions in Kosovo hospitals is pushing patients who are being forced to seek medical treatment abroad.
Otherwise, this year the Ministry of Health has earmarked 6m euros.
