Today is the birthday of Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Wessel, who was 51 years old, writes Periscopi.
He was born on 31 May 1967 in Brabonic in the municipality of Mitrovica. Besides working as speaker, he also carried out the duty of leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
The most baffling and controversial point of his career is that of serving as chief of the Kosovo Intelligence Service. [ Footnote] SHIK], a secret underground organisation close to the PDK.
The organisation led by Wessel was said to have offices near Grand Hotel, but its activity has been subject to debate in the past ten years. This organisation declared the break-up after Kosovo's declaration of Independence by wanting to identify itself with this process, but never showing what was done specifically.
Various LDK members have not hesitated to blame Wessel-led organisation for killing dozens of its political activists. There have also been attempts at launching a parliamentary investigation into SHIK's activity, which Wessel has expressed ready, but MPs never gave signatures to.
In a tense session, Wessel made himself even more out of anonymity by reacting with a brutal dictionary to MP Hadziu, who had called him a criminal: “Ma hong kh·qh” he had said.
The failure and uncleanness of his vocabulary, a thing not previously seen by the former heads of the Parliament, he also expressed it to MP Drita Milaku, who had also been brutal.
It was reported that Wessel had done a street insult to LVV deputies <x0 falquuojo djem”. Millaku had said “I'm glad I didn't hear you say that day that I'd put it” And Kadri Wessel had reacted rashly again “A used a lot of it?
Wessel is also known for mistaking the names of MPs. For example, MP Melihate Trmkoll had named her after Trmocol. Meanwhile, it was noted that he could not pronounce the word “here” that made “kty”.
However, Kadri Wessel has studied for Agronom at the University of Pristina and Tirana. Also, he received a master's degree at the University of Sheffield in Thessaloniki, Greece, being a colleague of Vetvendosje deputy Ismaili Ismaili. During the years he was committed to organising illegal groups that later fought in Kosovo. /Periscopi
