Investigation Commission to Exile Turkish Citizens at Next session

The head of the Assembly has decided that the next session will be held on May 17th, where, among other things, the agenda point is the formation of the investigative commission for the long expulsion of Turkish citizens from Kosovo. It is also decided that the continuation of the remaining sessions will be held on May 23rd and 24th.

After the chairmanship meeting, on behalf of independent deputies, Dardan Sejdiu, who said three important topics for them will be addressed on May 17th.

On May 17th, there are three topics that are very important to us, one has to do with discussing the removal of the Romang for the citizens of Albania and Kosovo, but also the discussion to remove the customs points between Albania and Kosovo, as well as the law for the capital for the second time, so the law for Pristina is in this timely session of the day. In addition to the 23 May, we will have the remaining intervals, with which case of interference with the prime minister for the Contral Global Agreement will be addressed on May 23rd”, he said.

And on behalf of LDK, Armend Zema said that the LDK today has introduced three bills for the 17 May law, which has to do with the draft law on personal income tax, complementing corporate income change, the draft law on added value, as well as the formation of the investigative commission for the long expulsion of Turkish citizens.

The multi-pronged provisions, understood by the blame of a minority majority which, in our opinion, are breaking down the Constitutional Report between the Parliament and the Government of Kosovo, would be clearer than the prime minister's responsibility to be part of the Parliament's reporting and supervision is taking place and we have three, four new sessions, in 17, 23, 24, but with a tendency like LDK to favour economic development, while not seeing the Kosovo Government's interest”, he said.

As far as the investigative commission is concerned about the long deportation of Turkish citizens, Zema said they are stalling those who have caused this commission.

“This commission is dragging forward those who have created this scandal, those responsible for and responsible for security institutions, and responsible for constitutional management of decision-making institutions, whether it is about intelligence service, Kosovo police and the other part dealing with the Ministry of Infrastructure, which belongs to Kosovo Airport, but we have insisted on not having approval from the parliamentary debate section, 40 subscripts, and now is the legal obligation to form the commission at the rotating session with the L<IDK, Zemaj said.

He has on behalf of the LDK expressed concern about the lack of government at assembly hearings, gathering agenda points, the lack of deputies in the hearings, saying this shows institutional fragility and with this logic it is impossible to function normally the Assembly of Kosovo.
