The International Olympic Committee has begun investigating the Government of Serbia, with the ban this country's government made the Kosovo delegation in karate, which it did not allow to enter Serbia's territory to participate in the European championship, which was held in Novi Sad. In this case, the KON requested additional information from KOK.
Besides the investigation, the KON has asked the KOK to be announced earlier if Kosovo athletes could face such problems.
The KOK Executive Board, at the 19th meeting under way, decided to seek once again from sports federations to inform KOK in time, if the championships in which they participate are held in states that do not recognise the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
If the federations are delayed by announcement, then even KOK's application to the International Olympic Committee will not be considered.
