Indian MP and diplomat Shashi Tharoor has been charged with inciting his wife's suicide in 2014.
Sunanda Pukar's inexplicable death was initially treated as suicide, but later the police said she was killed without pointing to suspects.
Now, however, authorities have accused the politician of inciting suicide and cruelty.
Early reports after death suggested that the woman died because of her drug overdose. Other reports indicate the mysterious “set of injections”, and “helimim”.
The couple had been in charge of public attention before Pushkar's death, as some messages showed the MP had an affair with a Pakistani journalist, reports the BBC.
