Through health policies, as well as through implementation of legislation in force, the Health Ministry foresees professional schooling with the aim of skills in various areas of health care. In this case, Minister Ismaili said that with the signing of this document a right is regulated and an equal treatment for professional quotas.
I'm so happy that today, after a very big job we've done, we're putting hundreds of volunteer specialists in charge. Keeping our promise at the beginning of our mandate, with the regulation of this injustice, which has occurred for years, I pledge that the conditions of our medical staff will constantly improve. Through this completion of the Administrative Guide, all specialists gain their right to be paid by the state and the right to treat equal to”, said Ismaili.
Furthermore, he said Kosovo needs its cadres, so through creating conditions it will keep them in our country. According to analysis of the current situation in the University Clinical Hospital Service in Kosovo, the number of professional health frameworks in the country is very low compared to some countries in the Development and Economic Co-operation Organisation, as well as compared to countries in the region. Therefore, in order to preserve and stimulate health staff, especially in view of their current migration trend, the ministry considers paying specialists with self-financed/volunteering, as a priority issue for the country. This will also positively affect providing comprehensive health services, enabling citizens of the Republic to access easier, faster and more quality health services.
