Haradinaj and Wessel remember Lion's fall

On the 21st anniversary of the fall of the hero Luan Haradinaj, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, along with Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini, have been homazhe at the Haradinaj Luan tomb in Glogoj.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said Luan Haradinaj belongs to the first generation of fighters who fought for the country's freedom.

He said his brother, The Lion, was supportive of the prosperity and operation of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

“Lan Haradinaj, who was also from the first generation of fighters and workers, the first actions for freedom, supporters for KLA development and functioning to command. This honour has been made great by all with their presence”, Haradinaj said.

Homazhe and flower wreaths at witness's tomb Luan Haradinaj also made the chief speaker, Kadri Veselini, who said he had the chance to interact with a warrior like Luan Haradinaj.

Wessel said they are responsible for working harder for the state of Kosovo, as at its foundations are martyrs such as Luan Haradinaj who fell for freedom.

And it's certainly been a terrible moment after the fall that our three heroes Zahir, Edmond and Hakif have been the second severe blow that some have thought would have us kneeling, but time has shown that it has strengthened us even more because Shkelzen's Lion has been too strong for as long as their parents, with their determination, have also given us the courage to continue fighting the Kosovo Liberation Army, and at the same time achieve the ideal for which they have sacrificed. Today we are all proud and at the same time responsible that we should do even more for our independent and sovereign state, the Republic of Kosovo for reasons that on its foundation is the blood of The Lion, Shkelzen, Adam, Zahir, Edmonds and hundreds of my heroes for our freedom of”, Wessel has declared.

At the memorial complex “, the witnesses of the Nation” in Glodjan a group of rapsodors from the Mallakastra performed several verses for heroes who fell for Kosovo freedom. Homazhe and the flower wreath, head of the country's executive, Ramush Haradinaj, and Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Wessel, have done even in the Septembers of heroes Sali Cekaj and Luan Haradinaj in Decani.

Meanwhile, the mayor of the Decani municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj, said that thanks to the sacrifice of Luan Haradinaj and his fellow fighters today we are living freedom.

On May 6, 1997, Laun Haradinaj and his warriors have attempted to return to Kosovo with weapons brought because The Lion has also been responsible for providing weapons for the Liberation Army bases at the time.
