French citizen Michèle Passas has released her room to her parents. The guest room is busy with children aged 8 and 10. Now three days in a row, this Gapi resident has shared her residence with the Albanian family. What's worse, the Frenchman sleeps on the couch in the living room. I want them to have any privacy, so they can rest, because they're very stressed”, the Frenchman who's a member of the association, for “France 3”, follows Albinfo.ch.
She further explains that the couple sleep under light lighting as they fear constant darkness.
The couple, who have mafia threats in Albania, have filed a request for asylum, Albinfo.ch further announces. However, she was rejected. Without Michèle, the family would be on the street. “previously, there was an opportunity to call the 115 phone number that is responsible for housing, but now they refuse to help families found in this”, points out Cécile Leroux, a volunteer of the association, which continues: “We are told they are not vulnerable, but what does the vulnerable mean when it comes to a family of two minor children who have no money?”
The family will continue its efforts. However, Albanians constitute the first nationality in 2017 to have filed asylum demands in France. In this country with great economic difficulties, which has been assessed as a country of safe descent, very few Albanians have life adjusted.
