Ferizaj chairman points to urban traffic solution

In an interview for Kosovo, Press Aliu has declared that the municipality he runs has found even worse than he thought. He said he has found undiscovered contracts, undiscovered projects without a cent and that it amounts to 40.8m euros.

“E have found a municipality of 10.56m euros of direct obligations that are either finished or that are expected as bills to be implemented. Also, we have undiscovered obligations and contracts, undiscovered projects with almost no cents and that this totals 40.8m euros. So, just in a financial way, we have a lot of problems and a lot of issues and it's certainly an extraordinary challenge for me as mayor, but, whatever my local experience and my experience as the deputy of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly and the communication that I have made with the finance minister and other ministries of the line, also with the prime minister of Kosovo himself, who have already expressed willingness to support me precisely for the fact that it is such a situation in Feriz municipality. I believe that I will implement my governing platform, I will realise what was the trust of the citizens of the Ferizaj municipality, it was my pledge, because I testified and would prove that I am not the one I once promised or served election campaigns just to get a vote of”, Aliu said.

In addition to the financial situation, Ferizaj's leader says that the area of urbanism is in serious condition, where he said they inherited a municipal development plan, which could at least be called one.

To resolve this chaos, Aliu says he will push ahead with the projects that will solve this urban chaos, which one of these is the “City Union” project.

We're going to implement projects that are in the interest of citizens, but above all to get rid of the urban chaos that prevails in the Ferizaj municipality, which is also connected to my projects that are ahead of us just to solve urban chaos in Ferizaj. Ferizaj's municipality also has problems in the field of education, which the mayor of this municipality, Agim Aliu, says there has been an extreme policy of education, whether in administrative recruiting or in recruiting employees.

“Depoliticisation of services in all parts of the municipal administration that is within the responsibility of the Ferizaj municipality. I am especially committed to making changes in the field of education, because it is time and time for us to put education on track. They put themselves on the right track of education is just through exercise or leaving responsibilities in the sense of professionals, because without field professionals and professional selections, without politically undisputed selections, I think we cannot make the right choice in the field of education. Likewise, Aliu indicated that they are committed to offering better conditions in schools, since according to him, they are still not the right conditions in schools in this municipality.

As this municipality stands out for the large number of operating businesses, Aliu announced that the Centre for Enterprises and Innovation would be established.

“Between building or opening up new opportunities for new profiles in the field of education, to create exactly professional people and to practically be serviced by the business community. But, of course, it takes time and certainly will not be easy to create all the professions required by the business community, but the good news is that Ferizaj has turned into a centre and an employment opportunity for the young and young Ferizaj. Also, being so I've actually already shared with the Ministry of Innovation and Intervention, we will also establish the innovation and entrepreneurship centre, I've already shared the location with the innovation centre”, he said.

Ferizaj's community, according to its leader, also has problems in the field of sports, but it is expressed ready to assist in this field.
