28.368, as many as the inhabitants of a small town or neighborhood in a large capital. This is the number of immigrants who have reached across the sea across Europe since the beginning of 2018.
The figures are made public by the international immigration organisation. 636 people failed to finalize the dream of a better life by losing their lives in the Mediterranean.
According to the IOM, however, the number of incomes has been nearly halved compared to the same period in 2017.
Italy and Greece continue to remain countries with immigration exposure; each has welcomed 38 per cent of the total, while the remaining 23 per cent has arrived in Spain.
Translated into figures 10,808 persons have affected the land in Italy, slightly more than 1/5 of migrants arrived in the same period last year, with 50,524 people.
