Europe's day is the most peaceful and unity holiday in Europe every year and is equal to the national day for the European Union. This became a milestone in 1964 to celebrate Schuman's Declaration.
The declaration had economic character and sought the unification of German and French steel industries and coal. Day is also known as Schuman's Day.
This day was formally recognised by the European Parliament in October 2008. The community that was made with the idea of Robert Schuman, then French Finance Minister, preceded what is known today as the European Union.
Although the EU has not yet liberalised visas for Kosovo citizens, instead of the strong pro-European Senate it has marked the day as a holiday holiday. /Periscope.
