In an interview with RTS news, Office for Kosovo chief in Serbia's Government Marko Djuric warned co-operation with the Special Court that would investigate possible crimes committed by KLA members.
Serbia will co-operate with the KLA war crimes tribunal, and if at least there is a theoretical chance to punish any of the criminals, it would be good”, Djuric said.
But he further declared that there is little to hope for such punishments.
If they wanted to punish these people, they would not hold power for 16, 17x1>, Djuric said.
Commenting on statements of Quinti's States talks regarding Kosovo, Djurovic said these states are trying to establish a common position.
We shouldn't have any dilemmas here. All these countries agree on one thing. For them, Kosovo is an independent state. And they can comply practically only about how and how to create conditions to push Serbia to make concessions on the Kosovo issue”, Djuric said.
He again mentioned compromise.
We are for talks, for compromise. Substantiations will never be accepted, and no one should have delem”, Djuric said.
Marko Djuric was arrested in northern Mitrovica on March 26th, after entering Kosovo without permission. That day he was brought to Pristina and then deported through Merdar.
Djuric later visited Kosovo several times with permission.
