The danger is the slide from temporary to permanent malfunction.
“This risk gets worse when the couple's communication is languid, targets are unclear and the respective” roles are misunderstood, followed.
Below are the five signs that it is time to give up that relationship.
1. Keep a record of “whatever you have done”, and then present this list as arguments in the upcoming debate. It goes in a race form of who “did more”.
2. You consider yourself a martyr. Everything you do seems like a fair sacrifice to the bond. Say stuff like “I think I should do”.
3. You expect your partner to know what you have done, without having to explain it.
4. Let your partner know how you feel without explaining it. Disfunction occurs when both sides lose their attention in partnership, and begin to see their own wishes and needs.
5. You have an unrealistic optimism that maybe today your partner will be different spontaneously.
