After a pause has begun the continuation of construction of Pristina-Wuztrri-Mitrovica autoway, exactly in the Smreconica-Gojbula segment. For the continuation of this road, 2m euros will be invested for 5km of roads, but that road will have two other parts.
The completion of 35 km of this highway is pre-arranged to take place within 30 months, while financed by the Islamic Bank and Saudi Fund.
The beginning of works in Gojbula of Vushtrri gathered the highest heads of state. Also present was the country's president, Hashim Thaci, who described this road as one of Kosovo's most important projects.
“is one of the most important projects for the Republic of Kosovo. I think and appreciate that the approach of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to continue strongly with infrastructure, with modernisation of infrastructure in all the spaces of the Republic of Kosovo is an approach that Kosovo needs, needs the state needs, needs citizens, changing the country's view and modernising and definitely giving European views to the Republic of Kosovo”, Thaci said.
According to him, this autoway and others that have been closed, or that are starting to build, will change the country and strengthen commitment to more modern infrastructure at the regional and local level for Kosovo.
Even the head of the Assembly, Kadri Veselini, has named this auto one of Kosovo's most important segments, while hoping that this highway will continue until Leposaviq.
This auto connects three cities, connects the headquarter of the Republic of Kosovo with one of the industrial cities in the Republic of Kosovo, Mitrovica. At the same time, we hope that this highway will continue until Leposaviq in the way that our independent and sovereign state can connect to the part of Southeast Europe... infrastructure investments can also be the subject of discussions about how well-hit they are, but still to have Kosovo's economic transformation without infrastructure being able to even imagine”, Veselin said.
The head of the Assembly said they would commit to completing projects on time, because they are in the service of citizens, as well as in the service of the welfare of citizens, but also of economic development.
While the country's Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has indicated that the start of building this vehicle is important news for the country's economy.
The important thing is that there's been a very good team work here of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure in order to reassemble a project that has had a certain pause, but now it's really coming true... I just want to say that this good news for the country's economy, that it is good news for the country's economy, and that I agree it should arrive at Jarinje so this way is”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.
On the other hand, the host of this inauguration, Minister of Infrastructure Paul Lekaj, has said that they are starting work when they were once interrupted, while he is suggesting there will be two more parts.
The “Investing that is being done here through Arab funds amounts to about 2 million for this section alone of about 5km. We'll have two more which are also millions. With this I would like to say that Vushtrria, Mitrovica and other cities where they leave and what they go through will be more open to offer investors and more capable of transporting their products, be they agricultural or other. This route not only connects these cities but also connects them to regional corridors. We will finish all 35 kilometers that are unbuilt on this road in 30 months and thus be closer to each other”, said Minister Lekaj.
Lekaj said he will monitor the entire process for the construction of this auto road.
That financial construction is certain for completion of this auto, says Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, who has said financial partners are the Islamic Bank and Saudi Fund.
Minister Hamza stressed that the road has financial construction as far as Mitrovica, but the purpose of this road according to it is to continue to the Kosovo border in order to be the corridor connected to other international corridors.
The start of automotive work linking Vushtre with Pristina and Mitrovica has also called Vushtrri's first best news, Xhafer Tahiri.
He said that continuing this project would transform the city of Vushtrri and open the prospect of agricultural and economic development of this city.
From Gojbula Tahiri has called on the Kosovo government to take concrete steps to create the American economic zone in Vushtrri. Tahiri said the municipality of Vushtrri is willing to make all the decisions needed to establish this area.
The last “talked a lot about a free economic zone for American businesses in Kosovo. The Vushtrria offers this area, Vushtrria offers the land which is here and connects to this highway and will be in the function of Kosovo's Vushtrri economic development, of Mitrovica”, the head of Vushtrri said.
The Pristina-Mitrovica Auto will bear the names of heroes Zahir Pajaziti, Hakif Zamenullahu and Edmond Hoxha. This road is one of the main arteries of the Republic of Kosovo and is part of the road route within the basic network of transport of Southeast Europe.
Part of this road from Pristina to Gazoc in Epper is finished, while construction will now continue until Mitrovica.
