Days earlier, Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu has formed a municipal commission composed by the Municipal Inspectorate and representatives from municipal directors, which is run by the municipal Inspectorate, with the aim of implementing the law and checking other technical-sanitary conditions of locals that hold the event of lucky games.
This action, undertaken by local governance, has resulted in the closure of 4 of the 6 surveyed lucky games establishments, casinos and bookies that have conducted this event on “Ever Topalli” street respectively.
The reason for closing these premises is the disregard for the previous distance to objects of public importance, ahead of the laws in force, lack of minimal-technical conditions, lack of sanitation and other irregularities.
As Ferizaj's Community reports, it will also be carried out throughout Ferizaj's territory with the locals of this event that fail to meet legal conditions, as the action will continue the following days.
Respecting the distance of these establishments with facilities of public importance such as schools, religious cult objects, cultural heritage and so on is the inevitable condition that must be met for their operation.
Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu is determined to ensure law enforcement, therefore fighting negative phenomena that affect family, economic wellbeing of the ferrazians, and especially the youth community.
This action represents the concrete step towards realising the governing platform of President Aliu in the direction of a healthy society and family, always in line with the laws in force regulating this area.
