Caushi has said the recommendations issued by the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo for dealing with this problem are being ignored by the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj.
According to him, it has been three months since Haradinaj is not dealing with problems that affect the lives of Kosovo's citizen.
Full response:
Almost three months are being made by the outbreak of the meat scandal imported in Kosovo and the alarm of public opinion in Kosovo for the level of food safety.
Based on continuing seizures by municipal inspectors of dangerous consumer products, I have the full conviction that the country continues to be in an alarming state of public health safety.
The Kosovo Assembly, following a parliamentary debate in 26.04.2018, came up with concrete recommendations for handling this emergency situation, including taking measures by Kosovo's prime minister to the board and management of the Food and Veterina Agency, as the institution responsible for the created situation and institution under the prime minister's office.
Besides that these recommendations have been completely ignored by Prime Minister Haradinaj, he has not addressed the public opinion for three months in any case of vital importance for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
The delay should be immediate and essential.
Citizens dare not continue to be treated like this further.
