The third political table among Kosovo political subjects, organised this time by the Vetevendosje Movement, led Periscopi.
This table was conveyed with fruitless discussions, nor was the statement presented by the Vetevendosje Movement signed by other political parties.
After the end of the second meeting, Avdullah Hoti from the LDK had said that the essence of the tables was “the education of nationally important topics so that institutions cannot be paralysed”. But the position and opposition are entrenched in their political positions. Even the opposition seems to be divided among themselves by not agreeing particularly on the election issue.
The ruling coalition parties, meanwhile, are in full agreement that elections should not be held but seem to have disagreements on other important topics.
But no progress has been achieved. At the first meeting, the greatest reconciliation achievement was to meet again. At the second meeting or table, the idea of establishing working groups to draft joint political platforms was given. In the third, consensus efforts reached a ridiculous point through a statement presented by the Vetevendosje Movement, which was known no one else would agree.
Consensus in the hava could be an epigraph of this article. The parties seem totally disinterested to reach a consensus on the country's most important topics, making the whole idea of the tables to be shameful and ridiculous.
The country is currently in crisis, as neither the position has the necessary numbers to govern, nor does the opposition have the numbers needed to bring down the government. Perhaps the only table to be held is the one with the Serbian List in order to reach or consolidate the numbers in the assembly for the government, or eventually to bring down the government.
