To the first suspected person, Ayoub Bazarouj was issued today a warrant of arrest, meaning the deprivation of freedom at the time of the investigation.
The second person, Soufian A.A., was released on bail by the file investigator.
Ayoub Bazarouj, a 24-year-old Belgian citizen with his two brothers and sister, had headed for Syria. He was arrested in December 2015 in the Molenbeek municipality located on the outskirts of Brussels and was released after a month.
Three days after the attacks, where 130 people were registered dead in Paris and St. Dennis on November 13th 2015, his family home became the target of a wide police operation.
Belgian investigators believe that Salah Abdelam, the key suspect of the attacks in Paris, declared in the search at that time, had been sheltered in the Molenbeek neighbourhood, from which a large number of jihadists have emerged.
